UPM FMIPA Successfully Organized a Tracer Study Workshop

workshop tracer study

On Thursday, 30 June 2022 at the UNY Hotel Auditorium, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science (FMNS) UNY Quality Assurance Unit team, along with the Dean, Head of Department, Secretary of Department, Head of Study Program and quality assurance group for each study program gathered for the Tracer Study workshop.

This workshop was held with the aim of reporting on Tracer Study activities that had been carried out during March – April 2022. The target respondents for this Tracer Study were graduates of the FMNS UNY in 2017 – 2021. During the respondent screening period, the tracer study team delivered an official letter to the alumni to fill out survey instruments online via the http://tracer.uny.ac.id/quiz page, and to alumni users (bosses where the alumni work). Alumni users are asked to provide an assessment of satisfaction with the performance of alumni while working under their guidance by filling out the assessment instrument on the http://survey.uny.ac.id/form/take-surveystat?id=42 page.

The survey results are then recapitulated, processed, analyzed, and presented in the form of a report. This report is submitted to the management of the Department and the Dean as policy makers so that FMNS can maintain things that have been considered good by alumni and users, as well as improve things that are still considered sufficient. Thus, the quality of the educational process held by FMNS UNY can continue to improve in order to achieve quality graduates who are useful for families, the societies, and the nation.
