FMIPA UNY Recognized as Best at the 2024 SPMI Award
Yogyakarta - The Quality Assurance Unit (UPM) of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) UNY succeeded in receiving the "Platinum" category award in the 2024 SPMI Award. Chair of the FMIPA Quality Assurance Unit, Mr. Dr. Syukrul Hamdi, S.Pd., M.Pd. said that this was an extraordinary achievement in order to improve the culture of quality in the faculty, because it had increased from the previous year which was only ranked 3rd in 2023 and rose to 1st place in 2024 with platinum predicate. This cannot be separated from the full support of the FMIPA Dean, Head of Department, Korprodi, GPM, Tendik and the FMIPA UNY academic community.
This activity was held on Friday, May 17 2024 at the UNY Hotel Ballroom. The 2024 SPMI Award was held as a series of activities for UNY's 60th Anniversary. This award was obtained after the team from FMIPA presented a performance report for the period January to December 2023 yesterday Monday, May 6 2024 at the UNY Hotel Ballroom. A total of nine faculty/postgraduate units were nominated for the SPMI AWARD, including FIPP, FBSB, FMIPA, FISHIPOL, FT, FIKK, FEB, FV, and SPs. The results are as follows:

The SPMI Award was given directly by UNY Chancellor Mr Prof. Dr. Sumaryanto, M. Kes., AIFO. This award adds to the list of FMIPA achievements in the 60th UNY Anniversary series. It is hoped that these results will motivate the UPM Team to improve the quality of performance in implementing PPEPP in each faculty unit, which in turn will improve the quality of Yogyakarta State University as a whole. Hopefully FMIPA and UNY in general will be more successful.
