Benchmarking from Jakarta State University to FMIPA UNY to Explore Quality Assurance

Yogyakarta - Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Yogyakarta State University received a visit from FMIPA Jakarta State University (UNJ) on Thursday, 11 July 2024 in Meeting Room 3 FMIPA UNY. This visit was carried out to carry out cooperation and comparative studies on quality assurance. On this occasion FMIPA UNJ was attended directly by the Head of the Quality Assurance Unit (Penjamu) FMIPA UNJ Dr. Irwanto, S.Pd., M.Pd. along with 16 other teams, while FMIPA UNY was attended by the Dean of FMIPA UNY Prof. Dr. Dadan Rosana,, M.Sc., Deputy Dean for Academic, Student and Alumni Affairs Dr. Ali Mahmudi, M.Pd.  and Head of the FMIPA UNY Quality Assurance Unit Dr. Syukrul Hamdi, S.Pd., M.Pd. along with the team.

There were 3 main topics discussed during the visit, namely, exposure to quality assurance from the learning aspect to 9 accreditation criteria, preparation of quality assurance guidelines for online and offline learning, best practices for processing findings into Management Review Meeting (RTM) reports, and Utilization of IT to support assurance quality (storage, servers, systems etc.). In presenting the material, the Head of Host emphasized the importance of ensuring the PPEPP cycle in the faculty's academic implementation. This is the main point when carrying out accreditation later. It is hoped that the results of the joint discussions that have been held regarding hosts can become learning material and can be applied at FMIPA UNJ.
