FMIPA UNY's Mathematics Education Doctoral and Science Education Doctoral Study Programs received "Very Good" accreditation from LAMDIK

There are two Doctoral Study Programs at FMIPA UNY which will carry out accreditation in early 2024. Based on the Decree (SK) number 388/SK/LAMDIK/Ak/D/III/2024 concerning the Accreditation Ranking of the Mathematics Education Study Program in the Yogyakarta State University Doctoral Program, LAMDIK determined that the Mathematics Education Study Program in the FMIPA UNY Doctoral Program obtained Accreditation Status : “Accredited”, with Accreditation Rating: “Very Good”. Accreditation Status and Accreditation Rating as referred to are valid from 28 December 2023 to 27 December 2028.

Not only the Mathematics Education Doctoral Study Program, the Science Education Doctoral Study Program FMIPA UNY also received the same status based on Decree (SK) number 372/SK/LAMDIK/Ak/D/III/2024 concerning the Accreditation Ranking of Natural Science Education Study Programs at the Yogyakarta State University Doctoral Program, LAMDIK determined that the Science Education Study Program at the FMIPA UNY Doctoral Program obtained Accreditation Status: "Accredited", with an Accreditation Rating: "Very Good". Accreditation Status and Accreditation Rating as referred to are valid from December 9 2023 to December 8 2028.

Coordinator of the Mathematics Education Study Program in the Doctoral Program, Prof. Dr. Drs. Sugiman, M.Si., and Coordinator of the Science Education Study Program in the Doctoral Program, Prof. Dr. Insih Wilujeng, M.Pd feels very grateful for the results of obtaining this accreditation status. Thanks to the hard work of all parties who supported and assisted in the accreditation process for these two Study Programs. Even though they are new study programs and do not yet have graduates, both study programs have been able to reach the "very good" level. However, both study programs still have to improve their quality to support the vision of Yogyakarta State University to become a world class university, one of which is through international accreditation as stated by the Head of the FMIPA UNY Quality Assurance Unit, Dr. Syukrul Hamdi, M.Pd. He also added that the results of this Accreditation are also a blessing for FMIPA obtained during the month of Ramadhan 2024. Hopefully, with the increase in accreditation status, the quality of implementation of the Tri Darma of Higher Education at FMIPA UNY will continue to improve.
